Founded in 1984 by Bernard Spolsky, Elana Shohamy and Andrew Cohen, the Academic Committee for Research in Language Testing (ACROLT) is a professional organization of Israeli scholars who are interested in and actively contribute to the field of language testing. ACROLT organizes annual scholarly conferences devoted to research in language testing and assessment.
As of 2006, ACROLT has become an ILTA (International Language Testing Association) Institutional Affiliate.
The site is hosted by the Kibbutzim College of Education
